How are you getting there?
When my husband and I take a weekend trip, we usually look at the drive on MapQuest ahead of time to see how far it is and alternate routes.
I remember when I was a kid, my parents would bring the map. One of them would drive while the other would open the map, mark on the map where they started and follow with a pen to their destination. Those days are long gone, or I think they are.
Thank goodness for GPS! I drive fast and try to get ahead of the arrival time. Best part for me is finding restaurants during the drive because I’m always hungry.
The only thing I do not like about GPS is when out of towners drive through side roads to get where they need to go. They try to find the fastest way to hurry around others. The fastest way may not be correct.
Sounds like they take the easy road.
That’s the road many take and others follow.
Is the alternate route the easiest?

Is that road the best way because you think it is easy? Many people will take that road and others will follow. Will you follow without considering where it is leading? If so, why?
Or do you strive and push forward to what may be harder, narrow, and even better?
It’s the same for the gate. What are you striving for, wide or narrow? One is easy while the other is hard.
Flee from following the road that others follow that lead to destruction.
Take the road, the path, the steps towards what is guided by the Spirit that opens and gives assurance. It’s not about easy it’s about what is possible. And it’s only possible by having faith in Jesus.
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)
You have a decision to make. It’s easy to live easy, but there is a wrong way and right way.
The entrance is open to a way which leads to life. We are to be empowered by God, not our own doing.
Whether you have a GPS or not, do not follow others that choose a road that is broad, or a take a path that wanders aimlessly, without purpose. God has a purpose for each of us.
Follow God, not others.
Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless 💕
We are only assured of a right path – the way, only in Him. 💯🙌🏼

Amen! God’s chosen route for our lives doesn’t promise to always be easy, but His destination for each of us will lead to eternal life . . . if we step forward to accept His Son as Savior.
