Part 2 of 3 – Worshipping

It is hard to imagine a life without knowing God. Without Him in our life, we are lost and searching for answers. But for people who do not seek the truth, they identify themselves with man’s view.

When you worship, who are you worshipping?

This is a question that some people get confused on. The reason I say this is because of our circumstances. We worship God because we think He gives us what we ask for. We worship God only in times of struggles. Or, we think we worship God and really don’t. We worship God out of fear instead of Faith.

God wants us to sing praise and have our heart’s filled with joy and sincerity. I tend to think that many of us leave appreciation out and not appreciate God for who He is. We must worship from our heart, soul, and mind and know God’s will for us.

Are you concerned about your own spiritual development? Is your church leading you into the direction of worshipping God? Some churches are failing, do not be deceived.

Can you call yourself a Christian and be overwhelmed by God and who He is? Are you motivated to tell others about Jesus?

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24)

We worship God to deepen our relationship. Do you praise and worship God under all circumstances? Not many people sing praises in times of crisis.

In Acts 16:25-31, I think of Paul and Silas who are taken, beaten and thrown into prison. They used their imprisonment as an opportunity for worship. They worshipped together and sing praise to the Lord. Their praise was unto the Lord in jail, sitting with hands and feet in stocks.

What would you do? Would you praise God in those circumstances?

I pray that you are worshipping our Lord and Savior. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ who gives everlasting life.
