Part 1 of 3- Worshipping

We worship an all mighty God. We tell Him we love Him, commit ourselves to Him, and put Him first.

But worshipping God is not only on Sunday when attending church. Worshipping God must be each day praising Him and knowing He is worthy.

We are made to worship. Our eternal life depends on worship. Do you love Jesus with all your heart, soul, and strength?

Why do you worship?

If you were called out of the darkness, you should be worshipping God!

Why are you worshiping?……….. Without the fear of God there is no love or worship for Him. We are to worship how God intends us to worship, not by our own standards or meaning. There is a difference between having joy, praising God for what He has done, compared to worshipping because it is Sunday, and we think we should.

We worship to receive God’s word. Our worship must be consistent by devoting ourselves to God. We worship in Spirit and Truth. It is a mindset that brings us into a heart felt cry when we worship by acknowledging our love for Him.

“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. (1 Chronicles 16:8-10)

The Holy Spirit fills us with the Spirit so we can worship in truth. Without the Holy Spirit, there is no worship.

Maybe some of you have gone through suffering, heartache, or feel hopeless. I’m pretty sure whatever emotion, sad or joyous, there is a story to tell. God knows your story.

In church we sing with our hands held high, listening to the music, crying out to God. During the sermon we listen to Scripture and hear the Word of God, pray, as the words run through us and the Spirit convicts.

When you worship and pray to God, He comes through. Why? Because of His promises. He never leaves us nor forsakes us. He is a God to worship, who gives purpose for us to live.

People cannot blame others for their loss of purpose. God never left, people left and found other ways to worship. We tend to blame each other for why things happen, instead of looking to where our help comes from. Without knowing who God is, people do not put Him first in life, and lose sight as to where they came from. Finding other ways to worship is denying God and His existence.

Why do we worship? We are created to worship our Creator. Our God. Our Lord and Savior.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and God Bless! 💕
