Ever Changing View and Meaning

Do you ever look back on your life and see how much you have changed? I do, and I have changed so much over the years. My style of clothes have changed, my hair ( ugh…my hair), and jobs.

Life is constantly changing and we change with it. And there is nothing wrong with changing our style of clothes or our hair. The problem is that the change comes about because other people are changing and we follow their lead.

What happens when our view of belief changes? Are we to follow another view? We have our own identity, but not at the price where our virtues are not grounded because they are relative, and we lose ourselves in society.

But not everyone is grounded. It’s not because of an age of disbelief, but it’s believing otherwise. Meaning, people are grasping for what is not there. When there is no faith, our own reasoning or multiplication is our purpose by leaving God out, and finding our own reason to live.

How do you come up with your own reason? Are you following others?

An every changing view means your searching for meaning, purpose, and a feeling of absence. Live your own life and conform to society. One meaning can represent another meaning, and so on. Then we look for ways to understand and create our own meaning. Does it matter?

Is Christianity irrelevant? Are people turning away from God and constructing their own view, their own desire? Who is doing the changing? Not God!!

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you-even Jesus.” (Acts 3:19-20)

We were created by God in a meaningful and purposeful way. Jesus is our meaning and purpose. Our view of Christianity and belief in Jesus should not be ever changing. We should not fail to see God’s intentions for us.

We should not believe otherwise. Without God, nothing would exist at all. Jesus proclaimed the Truth and is the Truth, and we must grasp that awareness of truth, and knowledge of God’s unconditional love through underserved grace. Not otherwise.

Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless πŸ’•

  1. Sandy, I find a blessed sense of affirmation with this post. God never changes, and He encourages us remain grounded spiritually through faithful prayer, consistent time with worship, and frequently tasting the goodness of His divine Word. Most of all, His love seals the deal. Blessings to your continued journey with our awesome God.

  2. Yes ma’am. He is our purpose and life. And without Him we can do nothing. Its sad how we take glory for ourselves when it was Him who did it all in the first place – He made us and He is the one at work in and through us.πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ
