Live Everyday As If It’s Your Last Day

I have been so busy lately with schoolwork and going to work. I sometimes feel as if I am rushing around trying to get so many things done and there is still more to do.

I’m sitting outside and the sun is shining, trees are swaying, birds are singing and in the midst of it all, my hens are laying eggs. What a noise! But it’s a beautiful noise.

I’m finally relaxing and trying to write this post. Do you ever take a break and sit outside and close your eyes? Really relax? And when you open your eyes and look at what is around you, do you take it all in?

Do you see what is clearly there?

In Genesis 1:1 God created which was out of nothing.

Most of us are caught up with our life that we cannot see what God has created. If next week was your last week on earth, would you notice the beauty that surrounds you? Are you that much in a rush that you forgot God all together?

The thing is, the beauty was always there and so was God. We must not take for granted what blessings we have received and what is yet to come. Why does it take for something to happen to us or to someone else, for us to realize what is important?

The older I get, the more I appreciate all the blessings that God has given me. The more I look outside and all around me, the more I appreciate God’s creation.

Stop what you are doing (even reading this post) and look outside. It does not matter if it is raining, cloudy or sunny, we see God’s beauty, God’s power and God’s order.

We do not know how long we have, and we should not be rushing and forgetting our purpose in life. That purpose is knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Our faith in Jesus is to disciple and bring the unbelievers to the community of believers. Show them what God has created, tell them what it means to prepare.

God is the creator of our world and all things were made by Him. If your world comes to an end next week will you be prepared? Pray to God, worship God. Know Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless 💕

  1. For myself, the daily miracles of God’s creation continue to speak louder and louder as I mature in my faith. I can’t think of anything better to see on my final day. Thanks for the invitation to comment. God’s grace and peace.
