We meet a lot of people throughout our lives. Some turn into working relationships, others are your church family and others remain acquaintances. Then there is that one person who you have a great relationship with and do everything together. Maybe it’s your best girlfriend you go shopping with and talk to every day or it’s your best buddy you go hunting and fishing with.
Whether it’s a friend, acquaintance or a family member, doing and saying the right thing doesn’t always work out the way we plan. Something is taken out of context or something happened that should not have and someone gets hurt, or even worse, the other person does not forgive.

We are to ask for forgiveness from those we have hurt. We are to forgive others, and there will be times we will not be forgiven at all. People will not always forgive but God will. But if you do not forgive others, God will not forgive you. Only God knows a persons heart, and you should not pretend to forgive and pray to God for forgiveness yourself.
“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:14)
The new life we receive in Christ comes from forgiveness of sins. As God forgives sin, He also does not forgive those who reject Jesus Christ, refuse to receive Him and condemn the Holy Spirit.
“But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” (Mark 3:29)
We will not always be forgiven by our friends or family as God forgives. We do not see what God does. We do not see a persons heart. God loves us so much, that He has forgiven us and our sins. Shouldn’t we forgive others as well?
Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless 💕

Forgiving another is a blessing to us, looking at it from the perspective that it gives us room to act like Jesus would; extending His love. And be a Jesus to another in this time. 😊

I think forgiveness should be for you to let go of something more than for the person you are forgiving. Great post!
