Change Can and Will Happen

My husband and I recently drove by the neighborhood where I grew up. It is approximately fifty minutes from where I live now. As we were getting closer to my old house so many things have changed. The roads have expanded and lead to different areas, and I almost felt lost not knowing where they lead.

I know communities change and grow, but what a difference. New communities have been built and homes are squeezed together. What a difference change makes.

Change happens. Not just neighborhoods, but people as well. As youngsters, we learn, get in trouble, grow and change.

Some of us change with the world and never find our true selves. We never find who we are meant to be. We follow others and change through them instead of changing through God. Will your change be for the better?

Isaiah was changed. He knew he was a sinner, but he heard the voice of our Lord after the seraphs flew down, taking his guilt away.

Isaiah is sent by God to tell the people they are rejecting God. But before God sent him, God said, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” (Isaiah 6:8) Without hesitation, Isaiah says, “Here am I. Send me!” (v. 8)

“He said , “Go and tell this people : “Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving. Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” (Isaiah 6:9-10)

Isaiah was changed. He went from, “Woe to me! I cried. “I am ruined!, to “Send Me!” He saw the Lord’s throne and spoke of him. This is the difference of the above verse. Isaiah did see and did hear “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” (v. 3).

For those who deny God or turn away, there will be a separation from Him.

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2)

There is a throne in heaven. God Is Holy! He is our one and only Creator and Savior.

We are changed by the Spirit that is given to us. We can make that change and we can go forth and proclaim to others. “Here am I. Send me! Rejoice in the Lord, share the gospel, show that change can be made. Turn from sin, turn To God. How many of you will ask, Send Me? Will you go as the messenger? You should if you want to be used by God.

Will you lose your life because of your unbelief? Or will you change your life by knowing, accepting and obeying God? I pray that your change is for the better. Be changed by God’s love, His Abundance Love. Change can, does, and will happen to you, and for you. I did, and I am forever changed by God’s grace.

I pray that you know God as your Lord and Savior!

Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless 💕

  1. Another big change came to Paul on the road to damascus…… There he was minding his own business and THERE WAS THE LORD! Just like us going through our daily routine and SUDDENLY our whole life is changed either by repentance or the miraulous.(Acts 26:13-18). I hear you about your road trip back to your old neighborhood….Just this year I returned to mine after almost thirty years and the change was immense. God Bless and Keep you always.
