Blessed Beyond Belief

Live your life the way God intended you to live it.

How beautiful is this verse! Everything we have comes from God. How can we say we want more when we have everything. Material things are nothing. Faith is everything. God is everything.

We tend to look at the negative aspects of our life and what we don’t have instead of looking at the positive and what God has given us. I remember when our girls were younger and they would say that their friends parents were rich. My husband would ask the girls “ what do you think rich means?” They would answer by saying “ my friends have a lot more than I do.”

We went through a lot in those years. Their friends had cell phones, our girls didn’t. Their friends had expensive clothes, our girls didn’t. But what our girls didn’t know is that money doesn’t buy happiness or grant you eternal life.

What we have or what we don’t have does not compare to what will be, heaven and God’s kingdom.

Are you blessed because of what you have or because you have God? If you answered because of what you have, then apparently you may not know God. Don’t get me wrong, we are thankful for what God has given us, but if we are so concerned about what we have or our fortune, then we are missing out on the joy that comes from knowing Him.

I am blessed beyond belief knowing that I have God and He is all I need. I pray that you as well are truly blessed beyond belief. Knowing God and having a relationship with Him is not only satisfying, but fulfilling. If you do not know God as your Lord and Savior, you still can. Give yourself over to Jesus.

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless.

  1. This is a great reminder! I sometimes get caught in repeat singing the “I want more” attitude. It is definitely important to remember our worth and value isn’t in things and God doesn’t look at our success or value through the things we have or don’t have.

  2. Smiles. I can relate to the comparison – your children’s response. It’s easy for us to feel that someone is blessed because they have material possessions. But we need to know that the only lasting blessing for us is in Christ Jesus. 🙌💃
