Feeling Alone!

My husband just returned home from a week long trip. While he was gone my girls came over a few days to keep me company and even stayed the night. πŸ€— I was so happy! I made them dinner and we watched a movie, and it was nice to have them with me.

My girls did not stay all week and that is okay. I know they have lives of their own. I kept myself busy with my school work, cleaning the house (never ends) yard work and much more. Even my little girl kept me busy. She looks at me with her little eyes, and her ears go back because she wants to play. I was wrong, she just wants to go outside.

Even though I felt alone, I was never really alone. I knew I had God with me and that gave me time to speak to Him. I talk to God everyday, but this week I talked more and prayed more. I realized that I need to speak and pray to Him more and more. I started thinking about what really brings me joy and peace. When your by yourself it makes you think about life, what really is important and what is taken for granted.

We must not take God for granted. Even if we are alone, spending time with God is building a relationship with Him. God is working in your life whether you know it or not. He may be whispering something to you as your reading this. Savor your time with God by loving Him and praying to Him. Feel the peace within.

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)

Jesus himself spent many times alone and prayed.

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:6)

If your alone, your not. Uplift that spiritual life of yours, and rejoice in the Lord. Take your alone time and be with God. Have a one on one with Him by taking your Bible and reading His Word. Speak what is on your heart and be in His presence. God is always with you!

Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless
