Dare To Be Bold

There were so many people in the Bible who were bold. We can be that way too, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges! As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:18-20)

Peter and John were arrested for preaching about the resurrection of Jesus. Peter is stating here, that there is no other way to salvation other than Jesus.

Is it bold to tell others about Jesus? Don’t hide because your a Christian. Don’t be quiet because your a Christian. When my husband and I go out for dinner, we give thanks and pray for the food that is given to us and everything we have. Jesus didn’t say, “don’t speak of me.” We cannot hide in fear when speaking of Jesus, we must glorify God

Why is it okay for others to speak hate and have hatred to others? I try not to turn on the news, but when I do it is about hate and death. And that’s okay? No! Don’t tell me not to speak of Jesus and my belief in Him. I will not conform to the ways of the world to make others happy. I will not believe what others believe just to be accepted. I will not accept so called truths when I know what is to be true.

Do you tolerate what is happening and just accept it? Speak up, especially when you know it goes against what you believe. Be bold and let the Holy Spirit give you the power. Speak in love and humility. Be encouraged in the face of opposition like Peter and John.

Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless
