I cannot say enough about blueberries. I eat blueberries five days a week. Every morning Monday through Friday I make oatmeal and add cinnamon, a drizzle of honey and tons of blueberries.

My husband knew how much I love blueberries, and years ago we planted blueberry bushes. The only problem with having the bushes is that birds also like the berries. I have to put a netting over top so they won’t eat them all.

After I pick them I have to put the netting back on. But it is so worth it. Look at all these blueberries! And this is only the beginning. Because we have a couple of blueberry bushes that produce blueberries at different times. So I have fresh blueberries for months.

I usually make blueberry muffins and blueberry pancakes, but this time I wanted something a little different. I went searching and found this recipe, and look how beautiful.

I did not cut these into bars to take the picture because it looks beautiful the way it is. But yes, I will cut them. Best thing about these for me is that it has oatmeal in them. YUM! I added extra blueberries on top. I can’t get enough. I am not one for writing about food, but I could not resist. Blueberries are one of my favorite foods and I do not share….lol,

I decided to take a break today and make this dessert from Erin. Thank you for sharing. Again, I want to thank God for providing everything, because without Him this would not be possible. I am very grateful and blessed for all that God has given me.

Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless

  1. This whole article is making my mouth water! I love blueberries too, but can’t usually get them where I live in Peru. They have a special meaning to me, though, as God has used them as a symbol of something meaningful to me, so your post caught my eye right away. I’m going to share your recipe with another friend who loves blueberries, so thank you!
