It’s difficult to find peace in times like these. We have a pandemic, there is hatred and forgiving others is difficult or unacceptable. There seems to be war everywhere and the peace is hard to find. Blaming others is easy and sometimes blaming God is even easier. But who is really to blame? And where do you find peace within yourself through this?
Our past or current situations can bring us joy or never ending stress depending on how we deal with it. We can worry and let anger set in if we do not come to terms with the person or situation. Do you blame others for the problems that you have? Or do you come to the understanding of what you did and accept responsibility? How we react to a situation may or may not bring us peace. The first step is accepting responsibility and give everything over to God. It is the peace that God brings to us and we know that everything will be okay!
“Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14)
You can have peace! Submitting yourself over and trusting in God will give you peace within. You can pursue peace and holiness by walking with God and receiving His grace. There is no other way to experience peace without knowing and loving God. But not everyone will walk with God because of the anger and the resentment they have towards others. Those are the ones that will turn away from God and have their hearts hardened.
We can live in peace with our sins forgiven and the Spirit dwelling in us.
- Pray for those who need peace
- Pray for those who persecute
- Be joyful
- Be forgiving
- Be gracious
- Be guided by the Holy Spirit
- Seek peace
God has so much planned for you, and the only way to enjoy the life God has planned, is with peace. Let the resentment, anxiety and anger go away by knowing and loving God. Forgive those who have hurt you and forgive yourself for hurting others. Let those you have hurt forgive you. You cannot change the past and redo what you or someone else has done, but forgiving and receiving peace will bring a peaceful mind and a loving heart.
You can have peace by knowing God and focusing on Him. Do not blame or have hatred. Show the peace you have to others, and have the love of God in your heart and Praise Him. Peace be with you!
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)
Stay safe, stay healthy and God Bless!
