Confidence in God

As many of you, I am staying home during this crisis. Many of you are “essential workers” and I am thankful for all you do. My daughter is an essential worker at an assistant living facility. She, as everyone else there, takes precautions and wears the personal protective equipment that is required. I know that she is safe and does what she can when working, but I still pray for her and those on the front lines during this terrible time. Not only do I pray but I pray because I have confidence in God.

You can have confidence in God’s power and purpose.

You can have that confidence by trusting Him. The Lord is our protector and our healer. “But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” (Psalms 3:3) God is the one that protects, hears our prayers, and we can have confidence in Him. “I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.” (Psalms 3:5) You can receive God’s comfort in a crisis because of His power and purpose. In Psalms, David was under an attack and in a major crisis. David could not lift his head up, but he knew he could with God’s help. Even David had confidence in what the Lord would do and David blesses God. Our Lord has a purpose for our life.

You must fully commit and trust in God. Not only in a crisis but all times. Let us pray and allow God’s word speak to us as we listen and embrace Him. God does protect us and He walks with us at all times. You can have confidence in God’s power and purpose.

As I continue to pray for my family and all of you, I continue to pray that everyone finds comfort and confidence in God.

Be safe and stay healthy, God Bless.
